Greeting from Tokyo. My name is Hiroko Watanabe, a senior program manager in CIEE Tokyo (Council of International Education Exchange). Our office is located in Sophia University, Yotsuya, Tokyo and we facilitate and support college and high school students to study in Japan. Our headquarter in Portland Maine, USA are interested in making a possible new high school youth program and they mentioned your place. I am asked to contact your organization to learn more about your program, facility and overall program feasibility. I would like to talk to Steve-san (or anyone who are in charge) for the future opportunities if possible. Your facility was recommended by Karen Hendrickson who has been working with our summer high school program in Tokyo. Karen mentioned that she is very familiar with your program. Also I have heard about Steve-san from Dr. Bo (Robert) Jacobs from Hiroshima city university. I have been working with him last 10 years at least twice a year. He has been giving our college international students for the nuclear development history, when we visit Hiroshima for our Peace Study as our semester excursion. Would you please give me your contact information for me to contact you for the above future possibilities? Thank you very much in advance.

Steve, I just got an email from PEAC and gald to find you again. I am still doing Peace Postcards and have over 15,000 on the web site, www.peacepostcards.org. I would like to find some way for Peace Postcards to work with you in Japan and the other sites. I will send peace postcards for the people to draw on and post them on the web site when they get back. I can send crayons and markers if necessary. This is all at no expense to you and the people who do the cards. In 2012 I did a exhibition of over 200 cards at the Tehran Peace Museum. Tomorrow I will send 200 + cards to Iraq for a project there. It is origanized by a young girl I meet in Louisville on a US State Department trip for Iraqi high school students.

I hope you can find a place for a Peace Poscard project.

    Thanks,

    Allan
