Greetings – This is a message for Mr Steve Leeper – This is Betsy Kawamura – we engaged a lot some years ago on surviving US military SGBV sexual gender based violence. I wished to reach out to Steve again, but was not sure which Email to use? Would be lovely to be in touch again. I was interviewed by PRIO Peace Research Institute of Oslo, via Dr Henrik Syse who was on the Norwegian Nobel Committee for many years – you can see the interview https://www.prio.org/MilitaryEthics/ or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OLg9-xmMdQ It is about Women, Peace and Security for North Asia. I hope to hear from Steve! :-) www.w4nv.com Betsy Kawamura

    Dear Rebecca Irby,

Saw interview with you on NHK on Oct. 20. re: nukes up for debate by Prez candidates, etc. Too hot a topic for US MSM, I guess. Heads in sand here. Thank you for your efforts and commitment!

    Hello!

I found Peac on the internet and would like to have some information. I have been researching with my University about NGOs across the world and I really would like to understand the demands that this kind of organization has nowadays related to volunteering or even fundraising.

Could you please answer the survey on the link below? It is very important and will take just 2 minutes of your time! :)

Hello. For attention Rebecca Irby and Steve Leeper:

My name Michael Orgel, MD. I am a member of Medact Scotland (UK IPPNW affiliate and one of the UK and Scotland ICAN affiliates). I am also a member of the DBOTB Scotland core group ( we work also with Nuclear Free Local Authourities – the UK group similar to Mayors for Peace).

Recently I read a report that the PEACInstitute is working on developing educational/ teaching materials for young people/students linking the subjects of climate change/emergency and nuclear weapons.. Medact Scotland would be very interested in finding out more about this work and would be interested in seeing any materials that you feel able to share at this point and/or in the future. Is this possible? Also I read there will be a conference on these issues in spring 2020. Do you have any further information regarding this such as when and where and to whom the conference is open?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Yours sincerely,

    Michael

Steve, I just got an email from PEAC and gald to find you again. I am still doing Peace Postcards and have over 15,000 on the web site, www.peacepostcards.org. I would like to find some way for Peace Postcards to work with you in Japan and the other sites. I will send peace postcards for the people to draw on and post them on the web site when they get back. I can send crayons and markers if necessary. This is all at no expense to you and the people who do the cards. In 2012 I did a exhibition of over 200 cards at the Tehran Peace Museum. Tomorrow I will send 200 + cards to Iraq for a project there. It is origanized by a young girl I meet in Louisville on a US State Department trip for Iraqi high school students.

I hope you can find a place for a Peace Poscard project.

    Thanks,

    Allan
