My experience of the Japanese Peace Culture Village was simply outstanding. As my first trip out of the country, I feel as if this set the bar extremely high. I had traveled all the way across the world to find a home away from home. While there I felt serene. From the sounds of frogs croaking in the rice fields to the gentle mist over the mountain trees. My experience was a 10 out of 10 with me being able to make precious memories in a place where I was free from the stress of everyday life. Furthermore, I felt as if I did not only create memories, but I left behind memories that will be enjoyed by guests after me. Such as my name being given to one of the household cats that we love dearly. There is no way I could express my love for this place in so little words, but it is a must for all travelers.
