Scream at the top of our lungs, if we must; but, always continue to Wake Up and ensure that others hear us. We must band together. With one voice, one soul, and one fight; we are creating a path to unity, of community, and peace.

24-Hour Pause for Peace: a worldwide concert filled with music and love guided by the next generations as they will inherit our world. Music is a global language of harmony. Our United Symphony, with cultural elements from all participating countries, will fill every hour of the 24-hour concert.

By creating a space for conflicting parties to listen to each other and start a dialogue, we can begin to make the world we envision

In this crazy world of ours, it is necessary for us to acknowledge our differences so we can find similarities within them to celebrate what makes us all unique. Acts of hate like those from nuclear wars need to end, to make way for a world where we can all learn to love and appreciate each other. I grew up learning that peace was always the answer, and my experience with the PEAC Institute only strengthened this belief. Peace doesn’t only better one person, but everyone and everything around them. As a Palestinian, I realize that my family has been through a lot, and peace was always the answer. The love for our planet and care for future generations was felt everywhere we went, giving me hope for a world free of nuclear weapons. Peace Culture Village

My experience of the Japanese Peace Culture Village was simply outstanding. I had traveled all the way across the world to find a home away from home. While there I felt serene. From the sounds of frogs croaking in the rice fields to the gentle mist over the mountain trees. My experience was a 10 out of 10 with me being able to make precious memories in a place where I was free from the stress of everyday life. There is no way I could express my love for this place in so little words, but it is a must for all travelers.

"The passion I witnessed- Every evening visitors came in from long and far to discuss their ideas of peace and ways by which they can contribute. The sense of community that existed- PCV is not an isolated set of houses. It is a part of the local social ecosystem- a larger neighborhood. Connections were made through education, music and even sharing farm work. This experience was filled with food for my soul!"
