This is Peace Culture Village's official blog. Please check back for updates on the goings-on here at the village!

The Thorn

is a young woman from Americus, Georgia. Americus is the city that gave rise to Koinonia Farm, Cafe Campesino, Habitat for Humanity, and Jimmy Carter. While in high school, she was in a delegation that visited Miyoshi (sister city to Americus), Konu-cho (home to the Jimmy Carter Civic Center) and the Peace Culture Village.

The Thorn is still in her first year of college, but thinks deeply, is a great artist, and has a lot to say. We asked her to blog for PEAC because she knows Americus, Konu-cho, the Village and cares about making the world more sustainable and peaceful. Enjoy.
